Mi pig, also known as rice pig, is a local pig breed originating from Jintan City, Jiangsu Province. It has the characteristics of small size and excellent productivity. Rice pigs have thin bones, a large head and a wide forehead, many and deep wrinkles on the forehead, large ears, and the tips of the ears are level with or exceed the corners of the mouth.
The whole body is covered with black or blue-gray hair. The hair is sparse and the spacing between hair clumps is large. The skin on the abdomen is mostly purple-red, and the nose and muzzle are also white. Or the tip of the tail is white; the number of nipples is mostly 16 to 18.
