Yehuzi, scientifically known as fox, also known as fire fox, has developed sense of hearing and smell, cunning character and agile movement. It is the most widely distributed and abundant species in the genus Fox. The wild fox has a body length of about 80 cm, a weight of 4-7 kg, a tail length of 20-40 cm, a slender body, a pointed snout, big ears, a tail slightly more than half the body length, and thick short hairs on the soles of its feet. The tail gland can emit a peculiar odor, which is called "fox smell".
Wild foxes are agile, have sensitive hearing, and are active at night. They will return to their burrows at dawn and lie down with their tails in their arms. If the hiding conditions are good, , also active near caves during the day, preying on various rodents, wild birds, bird eggs, insects and invertebrates. They also eat berries, mustelids, etc., and occasionally steal poultry.
