The mouse snake is a relatively small snake with a slender body and a small and flat head. Mouse snakes are brown or gray in appearance with many thin black or brown stripes on their bodies that are difficult to detect. It is highly venomous and a single bite can be fatal.
Mouse snakes are mainly distributed in Asia and Africa, living in grass, ravines, shrubs, rock crevices and other environments. Due to its small size, difficulty in detecting, and strong venom, it is called a "venom-coated" snake and is also an extremely dangerous wild animal.
