Green eyes complement the beautiful shorthair cat’s graceful appearance, making this feline even more charming. In addition, shorthair cats with green eyes can also obtain higher scores in exhibitions and competitions.
Level 2: Yellow
American Shorthair cats with yellow eyes are also very common, especially in Europe and the United States. Yellow eyes usually pair well with orange, white, blue or silver looks. Shorthair cats with yellow eyes have also received high scores in exhibitions, but because green eyes are considered one of the most authentic colors, shorthair cats with yellow eyes will not receive the highest scores.
The third level: blue
Blue is the least common eye color of American Shorthair cats One of the colors, but can also be seen in some breeds. Shorthair cats with blue eyes are usually paired with a blue-gray, silver or white appearance. Shorthair cats with blue eyes can also score highly at shows, but because this color is so rare, they do not have an advantage in competitions.
