Cats are small animals. Their brains are smaller than humans, and they do not have as complex thinking abilities as humans. Therefore, cats cannot understand and think about their owners' behaviors and motivations like humans. They have their own survival instincts and behavior patterns, and usually decide what to do based on their own feelings and intuition.
However, cats are also capable of learning. They can understand some of their owners' preferences and habits through observation and experience. Through long-term interaction with the owner, the cat may also learn some specific behaviors to gain the owner's favor or attention. However, cats don’t really understand their owners’ intentions and thoughts like humans do.
