Spiders in suspended animation usually have limbs that are stiff and inelastic, and the limbs may be tightly held together, making it difficult to pull apart. It should be noted that this state of suspended animation of spiders is not continuous and may usually resume activity after being stimulated by the outside world.
Spiders suspended animation is one of the self-protection measures when encountering danger, and many animals do this.
