New policy for tortoises in 2023: All species of tortoises are at least second-level protected animals in my country. Their buying, selling, transporting and raising are illegal, so don’t try them.
It should be noted that not all water turtles can be raised. As long as they are turtles on the protected animal list, they can be raised. Breeding is not recommended because domesticated and bred animals are also protected and cannot be traded without permission. Tortoises are national second-level protected animals and will not be fully open to breeding for the time being. To breed tortoises, a license is required.
