The fire skink is motionless and must be dead. At first glance, the flame skink might look like a snake, but upon closer inspection, it turns out that it has limbs. It is a creature between a lizard and a snake. The body is long and narrow and streamlined. It is a type that is not expensive but has outstanding appearance. Belongs to the class Reptiles, order Lizards, and family Skinks.
The newborn baby lizards have a black background with scattered red and white markings. There are light blue rings on the tail, and the body color is darker than that of the adults. Eye-catchingly, there are several species of skinks distributed in Taiwan, but they are not as outstanding as the flame skink. With the low price and low difficulty of the flame skink, the flame skink is quite suitable as an entry-level lizard breeder.
