Black dirt in a kitten's nostrils may just be dirt, or it may be caused by a fungal infection or a cat's nasal branch. First of all, the owner can wipe the kitten's nose with a wet towel. If it can be wiped off, it means it is just stained with dirt, and the owner does not need to worry too much at this time. Secondly, you can check the kitten’s skin. If you find symptoms such as hair loss, dandruff, ringworm, etc., it may be a skin disease caused by fungal infection, and you need to use antifungal drugs to treat it. Finally, if the kitten sneezes, has a runny nose, etc., then it may be rhinal bronchitis. It is recommended that the owner take the kitten to the pet hospital for PCR for diagnosis.

1. Dirty matter

If there is only a little black dirt in the kitten's nostrils and it can be wiped off, it means that it is just stained with dirt or boogers produced by the cat.
