The Shiba Inu is divided into four colors, namely white Shiba Inu, black Shiba Inu, flax Shiba Inu and red Shiba Inu. The whole Shiba Inu is not the same color. Their insteps, necks and abdomens may be white, and generally some are black. Chai, Hu Chai, and Chi Chai are born with black belly hair and neck hair. Generally, it will basically fall out during the second molt. Generally speaking, the color of the hair on the belly and neck of a Shiba Inu begins at 4 months. There has been a big change. It takes about 1-1 years of age to finalize its shape and turn white, so owners don't be impatient and wait patiently.
If you are over 1 year old, the hair of the Shiba Inu is not white. If the abdomen, neck and even mouth area still have no color change and are still dark, it means that the bloodline of this type of Shiba Inu is not pure enough. Pure Shiba Inu will not have too many mottled colors, including the white on their insteps. In addition to coat color, owners can also judge whether a dog's bloodline is pure from many other aspects, such as their facial features, body shape, height, the angle of the tail's bend, and so on.
But if the Shiba Inu has not shed its fetal hair yet, so If the abdomen and neck are dark, the owner does not need to worry too much. It will turn white after the Shiba Inu moults.
