Vomiting in puppies that are just one month old may be caused by indigestion, gastroenteritis, infectious diseases, etc. Since the dog is relatively young, it is recommended that the owner take the dog to a nearby pet hospital for further diagnosis of the cause and extent of the disease, and then provide targeted treatment. If it is temporarily inconvenient to see a doctor for examination and treatment, you can first treat the dog at home by giving it a pet-specific broad-spectrum anti-inflammatory drug, as well as an oral drug that promotes the recovery of the digestive tract mucosa.

1. Indigestion

Because puppies don’t know when they are hungry and full, they are prone to overeating. In addition, the gastrointestinal tract of puppies who are just one month old is relatively fragile, so once Eating too fast or too much can easily lead to indigestion and vomiting. The owner can check the puppy's vomit. If it is all dog food, it may have been eaten too fast or too much. It is recommended that the owner feed small amounts and multiple times. Pet-specific probiotics can also be added to the food to help regulate the gastrointestinal tract.

2. Gastroenteritis

Puppies suffering from gastroenteritis will also experience vomiting, accompanied by symptoms such as diarrhea, depression, and decreased appetite. In severe cases, they may also Bloody stools, dehydration, etc. occur. Because there are many causes of gastroenteritis, such as overeating, food problems, parasitic infections, bacterial infections, viral infections, etc., it is recommended that owners go to the pet hospital for examination as soon as they find that their puppies have the above symptoms. Determine the specific cause, and then use anti-inflammatory drugs to eliminate the cause.

3. Infectious diseases

Puppies that are just one month old have relatively poor resistance, and they have not been vaccinated yet, so they are easily infected with parvovirus and coronavirus. If you find that your puppy vomits frequently and is accompanied by symptoms such as diarrhea, fever, lack of energy, and not eating or drinking, then you need to focus on infectious diseases. It is recommended to take the dog to the pet hospital for examination and diagnosis as soon as possible. The sooner the treatment is given, the better the dog will be. The greater the chance that the dog will be cured.
