Why does the dog keep barking in the middle of the night?

Pet Knowledge
Dogs that keep barking in the middle of the night may be caused by stress, hunger, heat, disease, etc. First of all, if it is caused by stress reaction, hunger and estrus, then crying all the time is a normal physiological phenomenon, and generally there is no need to worry too much. If the barking is abnormal in the middle of the night and is accompanied by other symptoms, such as listlessness, body pain, etc., it is recommended that the owner take the dog to a professional hospital for treatment in time.

1. Stress reaction

If the dog has just moved to a new environment, it will have fear and stress reactions. The fear will gradually increase in the middle of the night, resulting in the situation of barking all the time. The owner needs to comfort him. As the dog's mood gradually adapts to the new environment, the discomfort reaction will gradually subside, and generally no special treatment is needed.

2. Hungry

If the dog does not eat enough before going to bed at night, he will be hungry in the middle of the night and will express his condition by barking. It is recommended that the owner feed the dog in time. Eat some easily digestible food, such as vegetable puree, chicken breast, etc. When the dog's hunger is relieved, the barking will gradually disappear.

3. In Estrus

Dogs generally have an estrus period. If they are in estrus now, they may feel physical pain in the middle of the night and bark randomly. It is recommended that the owner give the dog a mate in time, which can reduce the pain to the body. Failure to mate the dog in time may cause other infectious diseases and even be life-threatening.

4. Suffering from diseases

If the dog suffers from diseases, such as gastritis, enteritis, malignant tumors, etc., it will cause pain to the body and affect the normal growth of the body. Screaming may occur. It is recommended that the owner take the dog to a regular pet hospital for a full-body examination in time, and then take targeted treatment measures based on the examination results, which will help improve the condition.
