When a cat hides and cannot come out, the owner can take the following measures: First, if the cat has just arrived in a new home, the owner only needs to prepare enough water and food for the cat, and then wait for the cat to adapt. Secondly, if the cat hides because it is frightened, the owner can use toys to tease it, or use the cat's favorite food to lure it out. No matter what the situation is, the owner must have enough patience with the cat.

1. Wait for the cat to adapt

If the cat has just arrived at the new home, the cat will choose to hide in a dark corner because it is unfamiliar with the surrounding environment. In this case, it is recommended that the owner not disturb the cat easily to avoid causing the cat's stress reaction. He only needs to prepare enough water and food for the cat, and then place it where the cat can see it and let the cat adapt on its own. After the cat gradually becomes familiar with the new environment, gradually put these things outside. Gradually, the cat will no longer be afraid.

2. Use toys to tease

If the cat suddenly hides and cannot come out, it may be frightened. The owner can look around to see if there is anything that scares the cat. If there is anything, he should move away in time, and then call the cat gently, or use the toys that the cat usually likes to tease the cat out, such as cat teasing sticks, wool balls, etc.

3. Use food to lure out

If using toys to lure the cat out does not work, the owner can try to lure the cat out with food. You can take some snacks that cats usually like to eat, such as canned cats, cat jerky, meat strips, etc., and then place them not far away from where the cat hides. After the cat smells the fragrance, he will naturally come out when he is hungry.
