There is usually a reason why a puppy keeps barking. The owner needs to find out the reason for the barking first, and then take corresponding measures. First of all, if the puppy is barking because of hunger or thirst, the owner needs to prepare enough water and appropriate food for the puppy in time. Secondly, if the barking is because it feels cold, the owner needs to quickly keep the puppy warm. In addition, if the barking is because the dog is not accustomed to the new environment and feels scared, the owner needs to comfort and accompany the dog more. Finally, if the barking is due to physical discomfort, the owner needs to take the dog to the pet hospital for examination and treatment in time.

1. Prepare food and water

Puppies are in the stage of growth and development, and may keep barking because of hunger or thirst. The owner can check the dog’s food and water bowls. If they are indeed empty, the owner needs to quickly prepare the appropriate amount of food and water for the dog. After the dog has eaten and drank enough, it will naturally stop barking. .

2. Take measures to keep warm

Puppies have weak resistance. If the temperature drops suddenly and it feels cold, it may not be able to help but bark. Owners need to pay close attention to weather changes and take measures to keep their dogs warm, by putting clothes on their dogs or putting blankets in their dogs’ dens. If it’s summer, don’t turn the air conditioner too low to prevent your dog from catching cold.

3. Soothe the dog

If it is a puppy that has just arrived home, because it is not accustomed to the new environment, it will be very scared and keep barking. At this time, the owner needs to comfort and accompany the dog more, and use toys and snacks to divert its attention.

4. Physical discomfort

If the dog not only keeps barking, but is also accompanied by negative symptoms such as listlessness, loss of appetite, coughing, vomiting, etc., it may be sick. I keep screaming because I feel unwell. At this time, the owner needs to take the dog to the pet hospital immediately to avoid delaying the condition.
