Puppies curled up to sleep may be caused by cold, fear, physical discomfort, etc. First of all, when the temperature of the puppy's living environment is too low and he feels cold, he will curl up to sleep, mainly to keep warm. Secondly, if the puppies are new to the home and feel nervous and scared because they are not used to the new environment, they will choose a position that they feel is relatively safe to sleep in. Finally, if the puppy is still accompanied by symptoms such as listlessness and loss of appetite, it may be caused by physical discomfort, and the owner should take the dog to the pet hospital for examination and treatment in time.

1. Cold

If it is cold winter or when the temperature difference between day and night is large, the puppy is too cold and will curl up to sleep in order to keep warm, and sometimes tremble. In this regard, owners need to take timely measures to keep their dogs warm, such as preparing thick mats, turning on air conditioners, using electric blankets, etc., to prevent dogs from catching colds.

2. Fear

Many puppies who have just arrived in a new home will curl up to sleep because they do not trust the new environment and new owners enough, and will always be alert if someone approaches. will wake up. In this regard, the owner can prepare a separate room for the puppy and let it adapt there. When it becomes familiar with the environment at home, its sleeping position will become more and more relaxed.

3. Physical discomfort

If the puppy is curled up to sleep and is also accompanied by symptoms such as listlessness, loss of appetite, trembling, and unwillingness to be touched, then it is a big deal. The probability is that he is sick and curls up to sleep to relieve the pain. At this time, the owner needs to take the dog to the pet hospital for treatment in time to avoid aggravation of the condition.
