If you want the cat to stop meowing in the cage, the owner can first use snacks or toys to divert the cat's attention so that it stops meowing. Secondly, you can put some things that the cat has used in the cage, which will make the cat feel more secure. Furthermore, the owner can let the cat out every once in a while to let the cat move, and can stroke the cat's head and back with his hands to relieve the cat's nervousness. Finally, you can also use some mood soothing agents for cats to help them relax.

1. Use snacks or toys to divert the cat’s attention

The cat is suddenly locked in a cage. Because it feels restrained, it will keep barking. At this time, the owner can put the cat in the cage and feed it canned cat food, cat bars, snacks and other cat's favorite foods, or play with it with toys to divert its attention and make it stop barking.

2. Put some things that the cat has used in the cage.

It also takes some time for the cat to adapt to the cage, so the owner can put some things that the cat usually uses in the cage. Daily necessities, such as clothes and toys with familiar smells to cats, will make cats feel more secure, and the situation of constant barking may also be improved.

3. Let the air out regularly

If the cat stays in the cage for a long time and cannot release its energy, it will keep barking. Therefore, the owner can let the cat out of the cage every once in a while to relax and move around to release its energy. At the same time, the owner can play with the cat with a cat teaser stick or other toys to release the cat's melancholy mood in the cage.

4. Use some mood soothing agents for the cat

If the cat is very excited in the cage and always yells, the owner can also feed the cat some catnip or spray it with catnip. Use some soothing spray to calm your cat down.

Note: Don’t be too violent when putting the cat into the cage. It is recommended to let the cat get familiar with the cage first, and then use food to lure it.
