Dog allergies may cause symptoms such as redness and swelling of the face and eyes, local itching, skin rashes, itching, vomiting, diarrhea, etc. The dog will constantly scratch its body, and in severe cases, it may suffer from shortness of breath, and even cause the dog to Shock or acute death. When a dog develops an allergy, it should be taken to the pet hospital promptly for anti-allergy injections or anti-allergy drugs should be purchased, and then treated accordingly according to the corresponding symptoms. At the same time, the owner needs to pay attention to what the dog is allergic to to prevent the allergy from occurring again next time.

Dog allergic reactions are divided into acute allergic reactions and chronic allergic reactions.

1. Acute allergic reaction

It often occurs immediately after taking orally or injecting drugs or ingesting certain sensitive proteins. Redness and swelling of the face, limbs, papules and itching all over the body may occur, and some are serious. Some may also experience shortness of breath or even death from shock.

2. Chronic allergic reaction

Can manifest as red blisters, papules, itching, skin hair loss all over the body, and some are accompanied by chronic otitis (redness, swelling and oozing in the ear) and symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea.

Note: Mild allergies in dogs can generally heal on their own after cutting off the allergen. If the allergy is more severe, such as itching, body rash and other symptoms, treatment measures need to be taken. If not in time, Treatment may result in death.
