Puppies cannot drink milk powder. Because milk powder contains a large amount of lactose, it is indigestible for puppies. When puppies drink it, they will experience symptoms such as vomiting, soft stools, and diarrhea. Therefore, it is not recommended to give puppies milk powder. If you want to supplement nutrition, you can give puppies special goat milk or goat milk powder, which is rich in nutrients and can meet the puppy's needs for such nutrients.

1. Main reasons

1. Because puppies have a fragile gastrointestinal tract and have severe lactose intolerance. Although milk powder is rich in nutrients, it has a relatively high lactose content. It is easy to cause gastrointestinal discomfort after feeding a puppy, and even lead to symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting, soft stools, and not eating. Therefore, it is recommended that owners do not give milk powder or milk to their puppies.

2. Some puppies are allergic to the protein in milk. When the protein affects the whole body, symptoms of skin allergies, redness, swelling, and itching will occur. If you find that your puppy has these symptoms, you must seek medical attention promptly.

2. Precautions

1. Because most dogs will have symptoms of discomfort after drinking milk, if you really want to supplement your dog with dairy products, it is recommended that the owner can give it to the dog. Dogs drink goat milk powder made specifically for pets. The lactose content in goat milk powder is low, so allergic reactions will not occur.

2. In addition to milk, owners should not feed alcoholic drinks, carbonated drinks, milk tea, coffee, tea and other drinks to dogs to avoid harming the health of dogs.
